Yay, we have computers!!

Our computers arrived in our classroom today and since then we have been busy setting up Dropbox, checking and responding to emails, writing about ourselves on Google Docs, creating Yellow Pages advertisements on Pages, as well as reading and commenting on our blog.

We are really looking forward to creating covers for our laptops, over the coming weeks, to really brighten the place up...and learn some new skills on Pages and Comic Life.

    Thank you for your comment on our class page in Hamilton, I will share that with the students later this morning when they arrive, the students who made the video will be excited by the fact that they've received the comment as its the first video that they've created and edited for 2013.

    The laptops in your class look exciting. I had some teacher focussed questions out of interest - does everyone in the classroom gain a laptop? We would love to do some collaboration with you during the year, not sure if you are on Skype but we've done some connecting that way in the past, and also with google docs that might be something that we could work on. We have some great class pages that we could recommend for you to visit overseas if you would like.

    ps Would suggest that you possibly change your comment settings to anyone (name/url) as that will get a bit more than only being available to those with google accounts.
